Begun in 2002 as a series of theme based public discussion evenings in London, based on a collaboration between Christopher Houghton Budd and Arthur Edwards, Talking Economics now encompasses a spectrum of activities through which it aims to contribute to public understanding of economics as a global phenomenon requiring an associative approach.
The Associative Economics Bulletin is an electronic update sent out each month for those who want to keep themselves informed of various events around the world associated with Talking Economics. It also includes the editorial of Associative Economics Monthly, jointly edited by Christopher Houghton Budd and Arthur Edwards, which offers a range of material that aims to contribute to the building of an associative perspective on modern economic life.
Current projects being undertaken within the Talking Economics Project include:
Financial literacy for youth Research into Citizenised Central Banking Research into accounting as a basis for a single world currency
